The Practice I am or have been a member of many different professional and social organizations throughout my years of practice that have help me to obtain a wide range of experience and viewpoints, including the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the International Trademark Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the Canadian Institute of Chemical Engineers, and the Mexican Institute of Chemical Engineers, as well as being admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the Circuit Court of Appeal for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Georgia, and the Georgia state courts. I hold or have held positions at local and national educational and professional organizations including adjunct professor of Intellectual Property at Mercer University School of Law, instructor in Intellectual Property at The National Center For Paralegal Training, guest lecturer in the intellectual property field at local universities, member of the Editorial Board of the Trademark Reporter (a journal published by the International Trademark Association), as well as writing articles for various other intellectual property publications and being involved in other intellectual property law, bar and trade associations.
